Here at Herdy, we are thrilled to announce the success of our recent fundraising initiative in support of the Lake District Search and Mountain Rescue Association (LDSAMRA). Thanks to your incredible support, we raised an impressive £2,541 through sales of our special edition 'Mountain Rescue' Ewe Tube.
We were delighted to hear from Nick Owen, a representative from LDSAMRA, who shared just how much this support means to their teams. “We’re incredibly thankful to Herdy and everyone who supported this fundraiser. The money raised will go towards helping all the mountain rescue teams across the Lake District. As a service run solely on donations, this support is essential for us to continue our work”.
LDSAMRA is a vital lifeline in the Lake District, comprising 12 volunteer teams and over 400 skilled individuals who respond to emergency calls 24/7, 365 days a year. From maintaining rescue vehicles to ensuring top-notch training and equipment, the funds raised will directly support their lifesaving work.

It’s a great design with a practical message, and it’s heartwarming to see how many people care about supporting our incredible mountain rescue teams.
