At Herdy, we’ve always been passionate about supporting our community and making a positive impact where we can. We’re thrilled to share some baaa-rilliant news: thanks to your help, we’ve raised an incredible £6,477.50 for the Bay Hospitals Charity! This donation is the result of two years of fundraising through the sales of our limited edition NHS 75th Anniversary collection.
In 2023, the National Health Service marked its 75th birthday, and we knew we wanted to celebrate this milestone in true Herdy style. The NHS has been a cornerstone of our nation’s well-being for decades, providing care and compassion to us all. What better way to say “thank ewe” to these everyday heroes than by teaming up with Bay Hospitals Charity to raise funds in their honour?
To celebrate, we designed a special edition collection featuring an NHS mug, tea towel, and ‘Thank Ewe’ card. Each product was lovingly designed and produced here in the UK, with a portion of each sale going directly to the charity.
In true Herdy fashion, we ‘herdified’ a small number of NHS occupations for our design. While we couldn’t represent all 350+ NHS careers, our collection was a heartfelt thank you to every single person who has made a difference over the past 75 years. From doctors and nurses to paramedics and porters, this collection celebrated the diverse roles that keep the NHS running.
The funds raised will go towards purchasing equipment for the Bay Hospitals Charity, to help them to continue providing exceptional healthcare services.
