HerdySleep is back with a new and improved Herdwick wool mattress
Since April 2020 the COVID-19 pandemic has created many challenges for us all. Businesses, manufacturing, and specialist delivery services have been severely disrupted. Whilst having to press the pause button during the first lockdown, we recommenced sales in May when our two man delivery service was back up and running. However, after experiencing further problems with deliveries, we again took the decision to pause sales. We took this opportunity to see how we could create an even better Herdysleep mattress.

So what’s new?
Well, over the last few months, we’ve made changes to the HerdySleep mattress to make it better both for you and the environment.
We’ve enhanced the levels of comfort and support with a new layered spring formula. The natural-fibre sleep surface is even more sumptuous, now split into two separate layers: a pure Herdwick wool layer and a pure cotton layer. This improves body temperature regulation and moisture wicking properties and, by separating the fibre types, opens up more possibilities for recycling. The outer fabric is now 50% wool, which further enhances the flame retardancy rating without the use of harsh chemicals.
All of these changes combine to deliver optimum comfort and make the mattress look and feel more luxurious than ever.
